I am an animal lover, but there is one particular favorite and if you saw my house, you would guess right off it's the cat. Currently, I have 9 cats in my house. They have such unique personalities, it's easy for me to communicate with them and they with me. Look below at my writing partners. They give me inspiration. Often I've left the room to come back and find what might look like a garbled mess on my work in progress, but I just know it's cat language, one day I hope to decipher.

KISSY... is a Siamese and the boss of the house. She rules with a quiet power.

GINGER... is the laid back, long haired Persian that likes to roll in the dirt in our outside pen.

CHEETAH... is a part Persian and she's an affectionate, but lazy lady that bites my toes when she wants fed.

CASPER... is a Domestic Shorthair and he knows how to say the word milk really well.

DUCHESS... is a Persian mix. She's afraid of everyone and likes to sleep under my desk or in the laundry.

INK... is a large Domestic Shorthair and he has no tail, not even a nub. He swings his hips and walks like a bear.

DAISY... is a Russian Blue and she likes to play in places she shouldn't be, so I end up with broken stuff.

STORMY... is Daisy's sister & Kissy's apprentice to take over the house. She's mean tocats & picks on dogs.

PUMPKIN... is a Persian. She's tiny, weighing 4 lbs. and she's scary. She doesn't like anyone and stays hidden.

BARON FRANKENSTEIN ... that's right and he likes it. My son on the other hand doesn't. But when I call Baron, he just sits and stares at me. When I yell Baron Frank-en-stein, he gets excited and comes running. He's a registered Pomeranian.

TRIXIE... is a registered Chihuahua. She's been here longer than any cat and she's not thrilled to have them here! If left to her, she'd open the door and let them all go. However, over the past year, I acquired a pet for her and she loves playing with Chichi, but doesn't like he's a big baby and gets a lot of attention.

CHICHI... is half Chihuahua and half Pomeranian. He's a spoiled baby and is very demanding of first my attention and then anyone else's that shows an interest in another animal in the house.

MITZI...  is a lovable mixed breed.

GYPSY... is the outdoor boss.

SHALAMAR... was my pretty little 6 month old Appaloosa, all black with a white blanket over 25 years ago and look at the old gray mare today.

MISSY... is a registered quarter horse. We've had her since she was 6 months old in 1979. She's old!

CHEYENNE... is my son's horse and she's just a young lady.

TOM, my turkey. He chases my husband an son, but doesn't bother me.

This is a couple of my Sebastopol geese.

A couple of our baby goats.

Our ferret....SLY
